Nicole Renaud has used LEDs in her stage wardrobe: http://www.nicolerenaud.com/photos_eng.htm

As I recall, she had LED rope embedded into one of her gowns years ago. She also often wears LEDs on the inside of her palms to make a “mini light show” when she sings with a backup ensemble.
