We need projects such as yours to help high school students interested in fashion strengthen their skills in science and mathematics. Good luck - please keep family and consumer sciences education and the student organization www.fcclainc.org in mind!

This is a fabulous idea! Talk about closing the math gender gap. (Now, if we could close it in the other direction with the reading gender gap.) Just looking through your blogs, I can see a lot of projects that would be very appealing in a classroom... and they teach art at the same time as math, so it's like getting art back into the classroom, too.

Win all around. Good luck with the grant.
